Admittedly a belated response on our our part however here's our important positive feedback.
Band arrived bang on time - punctual.
Band appreciated that our changing room area leading directly onto the playing area had blown down the night before. They coped with the lack of changing area yet were still impeccably dressed.
The second set went down an absolute storm! - I never new Dolly Parton would get such a massive reaction from the party.
2 Encore songs to finish the set - brilliant.
Did not even hesitate over the cost versus value for money- particularly with the distances travelled. Guests were all raving for the band and said it was a monumental and magical finish to the day.

Hi Toni
We just wanted to write and thank you and the band for making the evening do of our wedding so amazing. We have never seen and heard a live band as brilliant as you were, and your voice is amazing.
You were so entertaining and you had everyone on the dance floor.
Our guests have not stopped talking about how brilliant you were ever since. I believe my brother and sister-in law to be have just booked you for their wedding next year.
Also we cannot thank you enough for saving the day by sorting out our first dance song as the DJ didn't have it.

So many people are STILL raving about how fantastic you guys were. Your outfit and shoes were mega too!
I can't tell you how much you really did make the evening. No one wanted to leave that Dancefloor, or you to stop playing! The sax player coming over to me on the dancefloor whilst playing..... nice touch!

Just a note to thank you and the band for your performance on Friday night at the Palm House. You were all fabulous and got everyone (even my Mum who is 86!) up and dancing. The dance floor was never empty! My sister, Lynne (the very surprised birthday girl) loved you and she danced practically non-stop which topped off a wonderful and memorable evening for her. When you did "I Gotta Feeling" I looked round and everyone was up, dancing, singing, laughing and having fun and that was down to you and the band. It was such a happy scene that whenever I hear that song in future, it will remind me of the party.
Lots of people were asking me about you on the night and commenting on your amazing voice so I'm sure I will get a number of requests for your contact details!
The string quartet were excellent too so please pass on my thanks to them.

Bailey Wedding- 26th September 2009
Organising a wedding is both an enjoyable and a stressful experience. On the day, the overwhelming feeling is one of great joy, but with a lingering concern in the back of your mind as to whether everything is going to go to plan.
Last Saturday, everything did go to plan. The Arley Hall venue is truly magnificent, and the evening party was a roaring success. Everyone who had heard you before said how good you are, and now the rest of the guests know that as well.
Your performance contributed a great deal giving us a day that none of us will ever forget. On behalf of both branches of the Bailey family, I thank you very much. Be in no doubt that we will tell everyone how good The Toni James Band is.

is no excuse. I hope all of your Wedding plans are coming together - not long
now! Anything I can help with, I'd be more than happy to share advice :) Anyway,

Toni, from the minute we initially spoke, you
were an inspiration. You're knowledge and help for our wedding set list were
beyond magnificent. The examples down the phone even sent a shiver down my
spine, let alone when I actually heard you in full swing on our wedding
night...your voice is absolutely amazing, and you looked stunning too. I
couldn't wait for the band to start, even though I was meant to be treasuring
every minute of our special day! You became a friend, and someone I could turn
to in a moment of Pre-Wedding nerves! I cannot think of anyone who was at our
wedding who did not say how fantastic you all were, the band were everything, if
not so much more than I was wishing for.... something for everyone in there too.
Everyone loved the Horns, and said how novel it was to have at a wedding.
I can only hope that I will have another excuse to hire you again in
the future, but by then I have absolutely no doubt that you will be on to even
bigger and better events.

Apologies it has taken me so long to write to you. I obviously didn’t have internet connection during the honeymoon, and since we’ve got back it’s been a whirlwind of get togethers with friends and family to talk about our wedding.
As you know from my constant dancing I had an amazing time and thought you and the band were fabulous, almost beyond words. Everyone I have either spoken to or heard from since the day has said the same thing – wow, what an amazing band. One of Mike’s mates who is normally a man of very little words, sent him a text on the Sunday just to say how great you were and ask for your details!!
Everything else I booked for the wedding was done on the basis of recommendation and so you were my wild card of the event, but I had no need to worry as you were definitely one of the highlights. I will have no hesitation booking you for future events and recommending you to others, in fact my new sister in law has already recommended you to here friend, for their wedding!
Hopefully I’ll see you again in the future!

I have been meaning to write a message of thanks about Toni and her band since they performed at our wedding back in December 2008.
As you can see from the other testimonials and from listening to the samples of the band performing,their music and Tonis voice are absolutely fantastic but i would like to highlight another side to the Toni James band.
From the word go Toni has been an absolute joy to deal with,always replying promptly to e-mails and always at the other end of the phone to discuss timings,venue layouts and playlists.As Kathryn and myself didn't really have "a song" for our first dance Toni had plenty of suggestions of what she'd performed at other weddings that had gone well and also some to avoid which was a massive help.When the band arrived they were professional and polite whilst setting up their equipment and as for the performance ?........well it's pretty much much the first thing people talk about when they chat about our wedding(and i thought it'd be my speech. ha ha)
What i'm trying to say is,when you're arranging your wedding there's a thousand and one things to worry about but the Toni James Band aren't one of them and i would recommend them to anyone and everyone,whatever the event.

We just wanted to say a massive thank you to you and the band for the most amazing sets on the night. We had a brilliant time. From the minute you guys started playing, the dance floor was full. Even my 68 yr old uncle was up and dancing for most of both sets (and the boys all loved you ;-)). We’re so glad that you were able to play. We heard you guys a couple of years ago at Bentley, so when we decided to get married there was no question that we would try to get hold of you to play.
Dazzla absolutely loved his little time to shine in American Boy so thanks for letting him get up and do that with you. He says he made up most of the words having had a skinful by then but it made for some fab video footage. Very funny.
Mr Brightside (one of my all time favourite songs) was an absolute hit – well it was all a hit. We bloomin loved it.
Anyway since I’m gushing a bit I’ll leave it here but thanks for again for a brillo night.

You were all truly tremendous and I know for me personally the image of the dance floor being transformed into a mini mosh pit briefly will live long in the memory…….along with the slightly cringe-worthy sight of mothers and aunts singing along to the chorus of ‘Sex on Fire’!!!!

We've had soooo many comments about how great you all were and how so many people, who generally don't get up to dance, couldn't sit down! My brother, in particular, was bowled over! I've never seen him move so much in my life!

Hi,
I just wanted to tell you how impressed we were with Toni and her band. Not only were they flexible and adaptable but professional and extremely friendly. Sometimes bands can be elitist but these guys were so nice and smiled and looked as though they were enjoying themselves which made myself and Steve feel at ease and I this reflected on our guests too. Toni had everyone up dancing and played exactly the right songs at the right time - even my 85 year old grandma was dancing!!
Everyone commented on how good they were and how amazing Toni's voice is. We really couldn't have asked for any better and we are so happy that we chose Toni. We will recommend them highly!!

The Toni James Band played at our Repton School Leavers' Ball on Saturday 28th June 2008. They were fantastic, there is no other word for them. Very obliging, funny, entertaining, patient and played just the right kind of music to suit 17-70 year olds. The Headmaster said in his letter of thanks that the evening was, 'outstanding and a tremendous success', the band certainly contributed to that greatly.
Please thank them for me and I will certainly pass on their name to the many people that have already asked for it.

The band totally made the night and my dad could talk of nothing else the next day. Nearly everyone I spoke to remarked on how good you all were and it was great to have a mix of old and new tracks to get everyone up dancing at some stage in the night. It was also nice to see such an energetic and lively band, who so obviously love what they do for a living.
Thanks ever so much for making the long journey for us - I'll definitely be in touch again should the need arise and will be recommending you to others.
